Watchworks
Privacy Policy

The watch collects nothing.

That is the whole policy. The rest of this page only says it in more detail. Watchworks has no account, no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics. It never opens a network connection. So there is no server for your data to reach. Not ours, and not anybody else's.

What is stored, and where

The app remembers four settings so it can look the same the next time you open it:

These four values are held by the operating system in the app's own storage, on your device. Nothing else is written. Apple requires this use to be declared, and it is. The app ships a privacy manifest naming NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults with reason CA92.1. That reason covers settings belonging to the app itself and nothing else.

What is not collected

This website

The page you are reading is a different thing from the app, so here is what it does.

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like every web server, theirs records the requests it answers: the IP address, the time, the page asked for, and what the browser says about itself. Those records exist so the site can be kept running and defended against attacks. They are not used to build a profile of anyone and are not passed on for any other purpose. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating the site.

Children

The app is a watch face. It contains no content that is unsuitable for any age, no links out, no purchases and no messaging.

Third parties

Watchworks contains no third-party software development kits, no advertising libraries and no analytics libraries. If you obtained the app from Apple's App Store, Apple's own privacy policy governs that purchase or download; we receive no personal data from it.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the four settings with it. There is nothing stored anywhere else, so there is nothing further to request or erase.

Changes

If the app ever gains a feature that touches data, this page will say so before that version is released, and the date below will change.
